Watercolor tropical fish card with distress markers.

This is a tropical watercolor handmade card made with stamping and distress markers.

Sentiment:  Just keep swimming.

This card is great for encouragement, support or just because.  The fish stamping was repeated and then I used distress markers for watercolor.   I kept this clean and simple, adding a few droplets and a sentiment label.

Here is a quick video tutorial for this fish card.

And here is a closer look at these adorable fish.

Planner flower art embellishments.

Today, I am sharing a couple of my planner pages which include stamp art for added embellishments.

These are April's cover pages.  I wanted to add these pretty pink flowers here and there.  I used stamps which were designed for bullet journaling.  But, these work perfectly in planners, bible journaling and card making as well.

The flowers were stamped onto cardstock and then colored with Copic markers.  I then fussy cut the flowers for page accents.  The journaling and planning details will be added later.

Here is a quick video tutorial for these planner flowers.
YouTube:  Gaylynn NeatThingsBtq

Here are the pages a little closer.

My planner includes lots of inspirational sentiments, which I love, especially the ones in gold.  I added the flowers, a stamped sentiment and a die-cut heart.  The journaling will be added later.

Supplies:  Unity Stamp Co. April Florals {bullet journing} by Holly Hoffman and She by Donna Downey; Me & My Big Ideas The Happy Planner, Copic markers YG95, YG13, V0000, R20, RV09, RV04; vellum, embossing powder and My Creative Time dies.

Sentiment:  Forever Remembered

This is a special card, inspired by the one year anniversary of my lovely Momma's passing.  She will definitely be forever remembered and loved.  She loved pastels, birds, pretty things and most of all her family.  It helped me to make a card with things that I know she loved.

For crafty friends, I made a quick video tutorial for this dove card showing how to add a frame from distress oxide ink.

And here is the card a little closer.

Supplies:  Unity Stamp Co. Mourning Dove, Ranger distress oxide iced spruce ink, My Creative Time Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies, Post-It tape, Copic markers C1, C3, R02, Staedler Triplus Fineliner colored pens.

Vintage Birthday Flower Gift Tag ~ MCT Tag It Tuesday

Hi, it's Gaylynn here with a birthday gift tag for the My Creative Time blog feature, Tag It Tuesday.

Sentiment:  Happy B-Day

I like to have birthday cards and gift tags ready for gift giving.  Birthday creations are by far the most needed.  This gift tag was made in neutral colors to fit on a kraft color gift bag.  It would also make a great wine tag.

For this tag, I layered different but coordinating pattern papers and then die-cut the the tag and the sentiment where the papers overlap.  The flower and leaves were made from die-cuts and distressed in walnut stain.  A brad was also added.
