Thanks For Loving Me Flowers

I wanted to make a Spring card with soft details and with a love theme.  It was designed around the dainty dogwood flowers.  This one is going to be for my Mom.

Front Sentiment:  You have made a difference.

Inside Sentiment:  Thanks for loving me.

The flowers were heat embossed in white on white.  I watercolored with distress markers and paper pieced the petals onto the stems.  The wood grain and flower with stems were stamped in the background.  I added a little heart mailbox, crinkle ribbon, doily lace trim and turquoise garden papers.

Challenges:
Unity Stamp Company {be inspired} Sketch Challenge 12 Bunches of Love and FWF
Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Love Letter
3GJ Challenge Anything Goes W/Ribbon

Tools used include:
Unity Stamp Co Be You Own Kind of Beautiful Jan 2014 KOTM and Here's My Thought stamps, My Creative Time stamps, punch, 3GJ ribbon, Spellbinders, Canson watercolor paper, water brush, mini mister, BasicGrey Paper, embossing powder, heat gun, Ranger ink and distress markers in evergreen bough, worn lipstick, spun sugar, barn door, mowed lawn, scattered straw and pumice stone.

Birthday Wishes Globe

This is a colorful birthday design, which turned out to look a little like a globe once it was finished.

Front sentiment:  May all your birthday wishes come true.

Inside sentiment:  Happy Birthday.

This one has all of the colors for the Unity Stamp Co {be inspired} Bunches of Love color challenge 12.  I added stars, a flag of stars, grid paper and trimming.  I love the chalkboard style of the big sentiment.  I think this design is masculine enough for the guys.  I resisted the urge to add a bow or girly detail, lol.

Tools used include:
Unity Stamp Co - Birthday Jubilee and Party All Day stamps, My Creative time dies.

Have a fabulous day and stay warm.

Anniversary String of Hearts

Hearts and love go together.  I couldn't resist this string of hearts for an anniversary card, symbolizing the ever changing years in marriage.  I made an inside liner with a fitting sentiment for these sweet hearts.

Front sentiment:  Happy Anniversary.

Inside sentiment:  Every year is sweeter than the last.

I used the colors of turquoise, pink and black.  This is included with Unity's FWF projects.

Tools used include:
Unity Stamp Co stamps - All Hearts & Love January 2013 KOTM, Everything Love and Heartfelt Sentiments.

Hope you're staying warm.  Have a great day.

Love & Magic

Here is a love themed card with the most beautiful love print collage image from the Handmade Valentines kit by Unity.

Front sentiment:  Love

Inside sentiment:  Love is the closest thing we have to magic.

I felt that this love print was enough to showcase on its own with just a pretty frame and ribbon.  I chose the romantic look of fleur de lis for the trim.

This is included with the Unity Stamp Co Friday Friends With Flair projects today.

Tools used include:
From Unity Stamp Company - Handmade Valentines & You Are Simply The Best March 2013 KOTM.
Also, Spellbinders, Bazzill & Kaisercraft cardstock, Ranger archival ink in plum and ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day.

Baby Bingo

The one was created for my very first niece who is expecting her first child, a baby boy.

Front sentiment:  Hooray Mommy To Be.  Big hugs just for you!

Inside sentiment:  Congratulations to the perfect couple.

I chose a bingo theme to make this card fun and unique.  There are lots of details added with the bingo panel like the scalloped stroller tag, sentiment tab, footprints and heart.  I think this design would work for either a little boy or girl with the colors of turquoise, peach, yellow, gold and white.

Tools used include:
From My Creative Time - Stitched Tab Die, Scalloped & Stitched Circle Dies, Stitched Button Dies, Anyday Bingo & Crosswords, Chocolate Greetings, More Chocolate Greetings, All Around Everything, All Around Accessories and Many Greetings.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you have a wonderful day and a happy new year.

LOVE & Happiness

This is a design fitting for a guy or girl, don't you think?  I love the rustic look of this stamp in brown.   I couldn't resist adding ribbon and setting it against brown glitter with a chevron trim.

Front sentiment collage: LOVE, happiness, the enjoyment of beauty, so special, xoxo.

Inside sentiment:  Loving you is so easy.

I removed part of the stamped image so that it would work for the hubby.  The front image is from the January 2013 KOTM and it was recently made into a Unity Itty Bitty new release called So Special, XOXO.  Cool huh?

This is included with the Unity Stamp Company Friday FWF projects.

Tools used include:
From Unity Stamp Co All Hearts and Love Jan 2013 KOTM and Happy Love Day December 2013 KOTM.
Also: K and Company paper, Ranger archival and distress ink, punch, ribbon, Bazzill and Kaisercraft cardstock.

Thanks for visiting. Happy New Year!!!!
