The LOVE is all that matters.

This is a tag I created for a wedding gift.  It is included in the Unity Stamp Company's Friends With Flair projects this week.  Since I used the Unity stamps and matching Spellbinders dies from the Ornate Artisan Tags and Accents sets, I thought it would be fitting to share this today.

The tag is much prettier in person.  Each tag panel is popped up and the top tag is set like a wavy banner.  The stamps frame the embossed diecuts nicely.  I added some adhesive clear gems, ribbon and tulle.

Tools used include:
Unity Stamp Company Samantha Walker Ornate Artisan Stackers and Love In An Instant stamps, Spellbinders matching dies, Cuttlebug, EK Success and Bazzill cardstock, Ranger Archival ink in jet black, aquamarine and sepia, gems, Pop Dots, ribbon, tulle and Ranger white gel pen.

{This weekend, Unity has a great sale on the Ornate Artisan Stackers stamp set. Get it on sale while you can!!!}

Bonjour

This is a new design created for the brand new Unity Stamp Company {be inspired} Challenge. This design is filled with lots of their fabulous stamped images.

The front includes "Bonjour" and the inside includes the sentiment "Good Day Sunshine"....

The challenge is to use a card inspired sketch, color inspired photo and/or layout inspired sketch (or a combination).  I chose to use the card sketch and incorporate the color inspiration as well.

This is the first time entering into a challenge of this type, for me.  It sure was a lot of fun creating with these amazing stamps, sketch and colors.

For my card, I wanted a soft typed print background with the Paris Eiffel Tower as the focal point.  I added flourishes (from a Unity grab bag), Bonjour and a lace trim.  The inside sentiment was also from the same grab bag.  I wanted just a peek of red and turquoise to keep the vintage feel of this design.  A hint of yellow gold is in the typed print, pearls and inside panel.  There is added dimension to the tower panel.

Tools used include:

Giving it all Meaning

Grab bag flourish and inside sentiment

Home Is Where The Heart Is

Here is a House Warming shaped card designed for Unity Friends With Flair projects.

And the inside "Home Is Where The Heart Is" with more fun frames...

I used the fun stamps from Unity's set called Dutch Mustard Soup.  The sentiments and frames in this set are very versatile and have a homey feel.  The polka dotted scalloped circle frame is the one I used for this.  The inside sentiment is also from this set.  I kept this design bright and cheerful. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the tag pops up from the page, adding a little dimension.

Tools used include:

Unity Stamp Company Dutch Mustard Soup set, Cricut.

Bad Egg

Once I noticed this egg stamp set, I just knew that it had to be mine. This fun set comes as a four piece set with both a good egg and a bad egg with sentiments.  Well, I had to get started with the bad egg first.  This was created to include in the Unity Stamp Co. Friends With Flair blog projects and is included in the BasicGrey Card sketch 2.18.13 challenge.

The front has the sentiment "sometimes it is more fun to be the BAD egg" and the inside has "Be amazingly AWESOME today".

It was given even more badness with the addition of the fabulous dinged dots background, blended with distress markers.  I suppose this could be an Easter card, but I wanted it to be a little more versatile.

Here is the BasicGrey sketch. Since Valentine's Day is over, I am including this egg full of badness with the panels from the Paper Cottage BasicGrey 6x6 paper pad.

Leprechaun Friendship Bear

Today, I am sharing this teddy bear design with a leprechaun friendship theme.  This is the start of a new designer challenge over at My Creative Time.  Nikki's theme choice for this challenge is "embossing", either dry, heat or both.

The front sentiment is "Top O' the mornin' to you" and the inside sentiment is "Lucky to have a friend like you!"

This little bear is perfect for St. Patrick's Day, but I wanted it to be a friendship card. Emma's sentiments fit so well for either, I think.  I used the Diamond Plate dry embossing folder for the bear's frame background.  I chose this decorative paper because of the sunburst look which goes great with the sentiment. The colors are green tones, yellow, gold and white. I had this pretty glitter ribbon and used it for the trim.  This was finished by a touch of glitter glue added to the pot of gold and hat.

Tools used include:

My Creative Time Curly Label Die, Stitched Curly Label die & I Believe In Leprechauns stamp set, glitter glue, Cricut Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge, Unity Stamp Co Samantha Walker Ornate Artisan Stackers stamp & Spellbinders die, light green glitter ribbon, Cuttlebug, Diamond Plate embossing folder, BasicGrey paper, distress marker, and adhesive.

Be Mine Mini Banner

This mini banner was created for the Jaded Blossom Valentine theme February challenge. They have a new Easter-ish release coming up on Friday, February 8. Today they have begun sneak peeks on their blog.

Since I've already posted so many Valentine cards, I wanted to do a mini banner using their stamps and dies.  This label stamp and die set comes with a heart frame pattern.  I trimmed black card stock with scissors to make a shadow for the die-cut panels.  The letters were framed with hearts and they are dimensional with Pop Dots.  Then bows were added.  I love how this turned out.

Tools used include:

Jaded Blossom Curly Label Die & Stamp set & Alphabet Candies.

You Mean The World To Me Card

Here is a simple heart themed card.  The background is embossed with hearts and the heart and tag are Cricut Imagine diecuts.  The trim is from a doily punch and I wanted it white against the Kraft background.  The sentiments can be for any love theme, really.  The front has "You mean the world to me" sentiment.

And the inside "You make my heart sing!". ...

The colors are navy, Kraft, red and white.  I used Pop Dots for the heart.  It really looks better in personal and has a lot of texture.

Tools used include:
Love Language embossing folder, Cricut, My Creative Time stamp from Lots of Love set.

Have a great weekend!

If The Shoe Fits ...

For the Unity Stamp Company FWF blog challenge this week, I wanted to share this fashion card.  My Mom wanted a fashion style birthday card for someone special in the family.  It just so happened that I had the perfect stamps for this project.  The two sets I pulled out were "If  The Shoe Fits" and "Love In An Instant".

and the inside...

The Pop  Dots made it stand up from the page.  I distressed it with Ranger Inks and markers, added decorative paper backgrounds with the same color family, Spellbinders for the shoe, ribbon and tulle.  Still practicing with image stamps and have a long way to go in perfecting that technique. This was still fun to make.
