Something you FEEL and DO

LOVE is the theme of this card.

Front Sentiment:  Love is not only something you feel, it is something  you do.

The colors were inspired by the Unity Stamp Company i love you {be inspired} December / January 2014 color challenge. Included with FWF there also.

Tools used include:
From Unity Stamp Company: December 2013 KOTM Happy Love Day, Dutch Mustard Soup and Hello Little One stamps.

Advent Calendar Treat Holder Banner

This is an advent calendar, treat banner style, that I just mailed to my daughter. I love how it turned out.  Each pocket contains two small treats for each day until Christmas.

The banner is in two strands because of so many pockets.  Here is a closer look at the panels before I added the ribbon:

I made each panel different, included inspirational verses and lots of holiday stamping.

This was a ton of work and time consuming but so worth it.  I sent her some hook nails to hang this high.  Let's hope her kitty doesn't destroy this, lol.

I am including this banner with the Unity FWF projects this week.

Tools used include:
Unity Stamp Company stamps from Tags, Glorious Tags and Advent.
My Creative Time 3 x 3 Fancy Envelope Die, Jaded Blossom number candies.

Thank you for visiting. Your comments make my day. :)

Too Cute To Spook Halloween Treats

Here is a set of  Halloween themed favor containers.  I made them to be more cute than spooky for the trick-or-treat kids, the mail man and my "not so little" kids.  When I make crafty projects like this, I make extra for the people who ask me "Where can I find these?" or "Can you make me some?"

These were inspired by Miss Cheryl's Designer Color Challenge at My Creative Time.  I used most of the colors but substituted black for brown, since my project was for Halloween.

My favorite part of this is the cute little ghost and coordinating sentiments.  They fit perfectly on these little pocket treat wraps.

Tools used include:
From My Creative Time, Stitched Button Dies, All Around Halloween, Treats for my Sweet and 3 x 3 Fancy Tri-Fold Card Die.

I look forward to your comments and hope you will follow my crafty blog while you are here.

Extra Extra

This is a gift wrapped newspaper for our newborn nephew.  The idea was to send a newspaper from the town you live in that was published on the baby's date of birth.  Isn't that a cool idea.  Better yet, the nursery has a Newsies paperboy theme.  I felt the need to decorate the paper before putting it in the mail. I wrote a little message on the back of the ticket journal tag.  The colors are mint green, gold and brown.  This is included in the Unity Stamp Company's Friends With Flair projects.

Tools used include: Unity Stamp Co. Kit Of The Month Everyday Fairytale scroll stamp.  Ranger coffee archival ink, K&Company paper, Martha Stewart Crafts ribbon, Jaded Blossom candies and charm dies, punch, Tim Holtz ticket and cording.

Sentiment:  A lady should be two things: Classy & Fabulous

I think this yellow, black and turquoise color combination with the soft butter tulle works so well together.  The gems were added for a trendy look.  The tag is glittered and the girl is heat embossed.  The inside includes a birthday greeting.

Tools used include:
From My Creative Time:  Keepin' It Classy, Classy & Fabulous and It's All About You stamp sets.

Winner of the cute babies sentiment stamp...

Winner time again....

Today I am announcing the winner of the extra new sentiment only stamp that I received as part of my recent grab bag purchase over at Unity Stamp Company.  Since I already have the itty bitty set, this extra sentiment is being shared.  I have become a fan of their red rubber cling stamps and wonderful sales there weekly.

The lucky winner of the sentiment "CONGRATS you make cute babies." chosen by random.org is...

Angeline
who said... "Gaylynn, this is so so so cute!!! i want this stamp! :)"

I will have another giveaway coming up soon, so make sure to follow my blog.  Sharing more goodies!!!

Have a great day.
